Both of these tales were winners.
ReplyDeleteIn The Moving Stairs Ditko seemed to be channeling Basil Wolverton on page two bottom right and page three bottom left. He made the detective look like Dick Tracy's grandfather on page two bottom middle panel and a Dotkoesque J Jonah Jameson on page three middle right.
This could have been turned into a running series, where people get on the escalator and are saved from heartbreak, or wicked people end up going down, if you get the idea.
The Last Tomorrow was a neat sci-fi tale with a happy ending, and the aliens looked cute, not menacing, something not often seen in comics.

I just enjoy reading and posting all these cool stories. Comic books were always important to me and to have the access and ability to post and share all these wonderful tales in fun. And I am glad you and others are enjoying them as much as I am.
