  1. In 'Miss Hepzibah takes a trip', Miss Hephzibah reminded me of Hepzibah Grimm from Grimm's Ghost Stories. Could they have been one in the same?

Five Acres of Moon was a neat one pager, the whole story told in seven panels, though it could have been stretched out to two or three pages.

    Thanks for the post.

  2. I don't know if they are the same Hepzibah but it sure was a fun story. The whole book was pretty cool too. The was also the second to last issue of Adventures Into The Unknown.

  3. The first and last stories are fresh ones to this issue, the short ones are from previous issues of Forbidden Worlds. The one about the guy buying property on the moon is a riot! I guess Henry was happy with his property. That one line " It's the real estate people, dear! I told you they were taking me to the moon!" is hilarious.
Anyhow, the first story is great--don't mess with Miss Hepzibah, she's proof that old people don't give a crap!
The last story has an adorable plot with the cursed car unintentionally bringing two people together to restore it in a race and then fall in love. You got to love the plot twist that undoes the curse at the end too!

  4. So ACG was still producing new tales till the end. Too bad they didn't last a few more years. I guess the times had changed and the superheroes completely took over around 1967.

    1. There were always new tales in each issue, but as the years went on, at least one of the longer stories or a few of the short ones were borrowed from earlier issues of their other title comics with new coloration and titles.
